Hortycultural peat

Hortycultural peat is produced by milling a layer of peat from the peat bog surface. After drying, the milled peat is ridged and collected. Hortycultural peat is used for establishing flower gardens and improving the garden soil structure. Hortycultural peat can be used as a bedding material in animal farming or as faecal gases binder in outhouses.
Features: pH 3.5–5.0
Degree of decomposition H1–H3 (10–25%)
Consumption moisture content up to 50%
Porosity up to 80% of the total volume
The initial material of milled peat is bog peat with a small degree of decomposition, which has good water capacity and the porosity necessary for plant growth.

Peat briquette

Peat briquette is manufactured of sieved and dried milled peat, which is pressed into dense regular-shaped briquettes by using great pressure. Peat briquette is an excellent fuel for using mainly in stoves and the boilers of private houses; it can also be used in gas boilers.

Calorific value 4.5–4.6 MWh/t
Sulphur content max 0.3%
Dimensions 184 × 70 × 22 mm
Moisture content 15–18%
Ash content max 8%

Sold on Big Bags, which contains 500 kg or 750 kg and on euro pallets, which contains 84 small packets, average weight 830 kg.

Milled fuel peat

Milled fuel peat is peat with higher degree of decomposition, which is produced by milling a layer of peat from the peat bog surface.
After drying, milled peat is ridged and collected. Milled fuel peat is mainly used as fuel in large boiler plants.
The moisture content of milled fuel peat is 40–50% and its average calorific value is 2.8 MWh/t.
Sold in bulk.

Bedding peat

Bedding peat — enhances the soils structure.
Bedding peat is a natural peat with coarse fraction and a small degree of decomposition to which no fertilizers or lime is added. Peat composition does not include weed seeds or infectious agents. Has good water absorption properties.
Bedding peat is intended for using in livestock buildings to keep the bedding of animals dry and clean. Ideal for using as soil structure enhancer in home gardens and arable land. Suitable for making compost.
