Loose peat is produced by milling a layer of peat from the peat bog surface. After drying, the milled peat is ridged and collected. Loose peat is used for establishing flower gardens and improving the garden soil structure.
Loose peat can be used as a bedding material in animal farming or as fecal gases binder in outhouses.
